Privacy Policy

Effective June 15, 2025

1. Who We Are

ProxyWarp operates the anonymous web proxy at proxywarp.com. We are committed to minimal data collection and transparent operations.

2. What We Do Not Collect

3. What We May Collect

4. How the Proxy Works

ProxyWarp is a client-side application. When you browse:

  1. Your browser calls puter.net.fetch() via the Puter JS SDK
  2. Puter's cloud servers fetch the target URL — the target sees Puter's IP, not yours
  3. The response is returned to your browser and rewritten locally
  4. ProxyWarp has no server-side component that sees or stores your browsing traffic

5. Cookies

proxywarp.com sets no tracking cookies. If you use Puter sign-in, Puter may set authentication cookies on its own domain. Proxied sites may attempt to set cookies if you enable "Allow Cookies" in the options — ProxyWarp does not read or store these.

6. Puter's Role

HTTP requests transit through Puter's servers. Puter's handling of that transit is governed by Puter's Privacy Policy. Puter is open-source and privacy-focused.

7. Third-Party Sites

Websites you visit through ProxyWarp are subject to their own privacy policies. ProxyWarp is not responsible for their data practices.

8. Data Security

All communications between your browser and proxywarp.com use HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). We follow industry-standard security practices.

9. Children

ProxyWarp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact [email protected] if you believe a child has provided personal information.

10. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. Because we collect minimal data, most rights are satisfied by default. Contact [email protected] to exercise any right.

11. Data Retention

Server access logs: max 7 days. Puter preference data: until you delete your Puter account or clear ProxyWarp preferences.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are reflected in the effective date above.
