DMCA Policy

Effective June 15, 2025

1. Safe Harbor

ProxyWarp operates as a transitory communications conduit under 17 U.S.C. § 512(a). We do not store, copy, or host user content — all content is fetched on demand from third-party websites and transmitted transiently.

2. Submitting a Takedown Notice

A valid DMCA notice must include (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. Description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  2. The specific URL(s) accessible through ProxyWarp containing the infringing material
  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  4. A good faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

3. Designated Agent

We acknowledge notices within 2 business days and process valid notices within 10 business days.

4. What We Can Do

Since we do not host content, we can: block the specific URL or domain from being accessed via ProxyWarp, and direct you to the actual hosting provider. To have content removed at the source, contact that website's DMCA agent directly.

5. Counter-Notification

To dispute a removal, send a counter-notice to [email protected] including: your signature, identification of the blocked URL, a statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.

6. Repeat Infringers

We will block access for users or IPs subject to multiple valid DMCA complaints.

7. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly misrepresenting infringement may result in liability for damages.
